End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: 04.12.2025

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Stichting de Lokale, a non-profit foundation registered in The Hague, The Netherlands (KvK 90390970, the developer and operator of the digital platform CSO Together.
By downloading, installing, or using the CSO Together mobile application or web platform (“App”), you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. License grant

Stichting de Lokale grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the CSO Together App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with this EULA and applicable laws.

2. Ownership

You must be 18 years or older to use CSO Together.
By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Eligibility

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Your consent – for processing your email address and sending informational materials (you can withdraw your consent at any time).

  • Our legitimate interests – to analyze the usage of the App and improve its performance (analysis of data from the stores).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes;
  • Post or distribute content that contains hate speech, discrimination, harassment, threats, violence, nudity, sexually explicit material, or misinformation;
  • Publish personal or private information of others without consent;
  • Upload malicious software or spam;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App’s code.

5. Anonymous posting and moderation

The App allows limited anonymous posting. To ensure safety:

​​

  • Offensive language is automatically filtered;
  • Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users;
  • Users can delete their own posts at any time;
  • The moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and removes content or users violating this Agreement.

6. Developer obligations 

Stichting de Lokale commits to:​

  • Acting on content reports within 24 hours;
  • Removing confirmed objectionable content and banning repeat offenders;
  • Maintaining secure data processing consistent with EU GDPR standards.

7. Privacy

Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
Anonymous posts are stored without personal identifiers.
We collect only what is necessary for the App to function safely.

​

8. Termination 

This license remains in effect until terminated by you or by Stichting de Lokale.
You may stop using and delete the App at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if required by law.

​

9. Disclaimer of warranties 

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Stichting de Lokale does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance and is not liable for user-generated content.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stichting de Lokale shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any user-generated content.

 
11. Limitation of liability

This Agreement is governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
Any disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent courts in The Hague.
